Field work forever.

Heading out at sunset to go look for some dinosaur footprints! Wish me luck!

Dear friends,

This whole blog thing has be excited and nervous. It’s a weird combination of emotions. It’s been great to see the new views come in, and I get excited every time it happens. However, I need your help to determine what I should post about. I want this blog to help people that are curious about paleontology and those who are interested in osteology. Please send me suggestions on what you’d like to see.

So, I’m thinking about maybe posting a video explaining what makes a dinosaur a dinosaur.

I just got asked if edaphosaurus and dimetrodon are considered dinosaurs. The short answer is no, but I was wondering if you guys would like a video explaining why. The video would also include pterosaurs/pterodons, marine reptiles, and lots of other animals from the Permian.

Do you think this would be useful? Would you like to see me awkwardly try to talk about dinosaurs on camera? If yes to both, please let me know.

So, I’ve been on the fence about this for a little while, but…

I have been thinking about making a video answering any questions my followers/random people may have about paleontology. I could do little lessons on different dinosaurs or different eras or evolution. It’s really up to the questions that I get asked.

So go ahead and fill up my ask box. I’m interested to see what happens.
